Before entry, check your hard hat, suitable safety footwear, high-visibility vest and task-specific equipment; never use damaged PPE.

### 2. Learn access and emergency rules

Walk the assembly point, emergency exit, first-aid station, fire equipment and restricted zones with the responsible person.

### 3. Locate the current drawing and revision set

Match the drawing revision number to the distribution record and remove superseded sheets from the working area.

### 4. Understand site roles and responsibilities

Identify the site manager, field engineer, safety specialist, foreman and subcontractor leads, and note who approves each type of decision.

### 5. Keep dated notes with photo references

Link photographs to a location and drawing reference, and respect privacy, confidentiality and site photography rules.
